I really started to lose my way this time a year ago, my work included. • I loved making these series of collages in this style Feb last year and whilst they weren't anything amazing, I was so excited by the possibilities that could be generated from them. But my tutor didn't see them the same way I did and I was completely disheartened. I didn't communicate what I wanted to achieve, my opinions or my vision and began to lose belief in myself. • In a year, I've gone from completely hating my work and feeling embaressed by it - I threw 90% of my fourth year protfolio away (recycled Molly, dw) - to falling in love with what I'm creating again and being proud of it, even if others don't agree. • It's crazy what a little self-belief and assertion can do 💪🏻
